"Dedication" - This song was dedicated to his mother. The melody is haunting and dreamy.

"Opera #2" - He wowed the audience with his high notes! The hooded musicians look kinda creepy though :p

"Zvezda" - It's a sad song and has a nice music video.

Bossa Nova collections

Been listening to Bossa Nova lately. The music is sensual and relaxing, perfect after coming back home from work.

Currently listening to Ono Lisa best 1997 - 2001, which is a compilation. Just found out that there is a special release that consists of two bonus tracks - One Note Samba (Samba de Una Nota So) and March Rain (Agua de Marco) recorded live on Lisa's 2001 Winter Bossa Tour - at Bunkamura Orchard Hall, Tokyo. The one I got seems to be the Taiwan regular release, which have one extra track than the regular release.

The other album that I listen to is chill:brazil2, another great compilation of bossa nova songs by various great artists like Joyce, Bebel Gilberto and more. The album consists of 2 CDs, so plenty of music if you happen to be sleepless.

This song is beautiful. And the video is very sad. From Indonesian band UNGU I first heard it on fly.fm. The melody is so stirring. You just gotta have a listen. :)

I heard this song on the radio a long time ago, but had no idea what the title was or who the artist is. Then when sitting in a restaurant one day, the song played again and immediately I asked one of the Malay/Indonesian waiters there and he delightfully informed me... and so, here it is... ;P

A talented singer-songwriter from Singapore based in L.A., her songs are soothing and nice to listen to. It's the kind music that you can chill-out to after a hard day or when you've had a bad day :p

Latest news is that she would be returning back to Singapore and also recording a new album. Gonna check out her new album when it's out.

Again, it's the lyrics of this song that moved me. I first heard this song when my relationship wasn't going too well. Or was it after I broke up? The song made popular by American Idol... the song they play whenever someone has to leave the show. Love it! Haha... :) I love it for the melody and the lyrics. Coz it reminds me that everyone has their bad days, and that somehow things will turn out well again soon.

I recently heard this song on the tv, and was instantly hooked! The lyrics are inspiring and the music is catchy.
This guy is from Australian Idol (he came second to Guy Sebastian in the first season). He looks like a rockstar... come to think of it, he actually looks a little like the lead singer of Hoobastank!
